How Goldcast turns event signals into pipeline

Goldcast used Vector to turn event signals, like reg page visits and content engagement, into coordinated plays across ads, email, and BDRs, driving pipeline before the form fill.

Most B2B teams still “spray and pray” around webinars and paid media. Goldcast, the event OS built for modern GTM, wanted to change that.

Their demand team set out to:

  • Move from reactive, post-event reporting to real-time, contact-level visibility
  • Qualify who is hitting registration pages (not just how many)
  • Orchestrate ads + email + BDR outreach off the same signal

With Vector, Goldcast connects registration page traffic, event engagement, and off-site intent signals into one motion:

turning every event touchpoint into pipeline momentum (no forms needed!)

Plays to run

Goldcast turned Vector’s signals into three repeatable plays that keep marketing and sales in sync.

1) Paid media sponsorship ROI

Signal: Registration page visits (by UTM source and partner)
Goal: Validate partner quality, capture high-fit visitors, and retarget non-converters

How Goldcast runs it:

  • Builds a Vector segment tied to specific registration URLs and UTM parameters for each media partner.
  • Uses contact-level de-anonymization to reveal who’s actually landing on those pages.
  • Sends Slack alerts to the Growth and BDR team for visibility into live, high-fit traffic.
  • Syncs the same segment to LinkedIn Ads for precision retargeting (e.g., serve on-demand clips to non-converters).
  • Uses Vector’s campaign reporting dashboard to compare traffic quality across partners and optimize spend.

Result: Real-time view of partner quality and page effectiveness; faster feedback loops and more high-fit touches.

2) Convert problem-aware contacts

Signal: Content engagement + off-site research intent
Goal: Move mid-funnel contacts into conversation

How Goldcast runs it:

  • Uses Vector’s out-of-the-box playbook: “Convert problem-aware contacts.”
  • Builds a Salesforce list of leads who engaged with educational content (emails, webinars, or blogs) but haven’t requested a demo.
  • Layers off-site research intent from Vector to find those actively exploring related solutions or competitors.
  • Filters by job title, seniority, and geography to keep the list relevant for regional BDRs.
  • Syncs to LinkedIn and Google Ads as a contact-level audience for thought-leadership campaigns like inviting them to the next AI Revenue Playbook session.
  • Triggers Slack notifications to alert reps when someone from their territory re-engages.

Result: Goldcast now drives more conversions from existing audiences without creating net-new campaigns. The team can catch contacts who are researching, retarget them with the right narrative, and bridge the gap between awareness and action.

3) Nurture engaged contacts with on-demand

Signal: Ongoing engagement from past webinars, events, and ad clicks
Goal: Keep top-of-funnel audiences warm using repurposed content

How Goldcast runs it:

  • Builds Vector segments of contacts engaging across owned and paid channels but not yet in pipeline.
  • Uses contact-level reporting to identify the highest-engaged contacts and pass them to BDRs via Slack for tailored follow-up.
  • Repurposes webinars using Goldcast Content Lab, creating short clips, takeaways, and recap emails.
  • Pushes these creative assets into Vector Ad Audiences for always-on nurture matching messages to signal stage (e.g., pricing-visit contacts get “ROI of virtual events” content).
  • Tracks downstream engagement and meetings through Vector’s CRM sync, closing the loop between marketing activity and pipeline.

The impact

By combining signals, ads, and BDR outreach in one motion, Goldcast has:

  • Shifted from reactive event reporting to real-time, contact-level action
  • Given BDRs de-anonymized visitor alerts tied to specific campaigns and UTMs
  • Created “second at-bats” for non-converters with precise LinkedIn audiences
  • Built a scalable on-demand engine that turns past events into ongoing pipeline

Goldcast doesn’t see Vector as “just retargeting.” It’s the signal layer that powers targeted ads, smarter content, and timely human follow-up.

How you can run these plays

  1. Define the event signals that matter. Start with reg-page visits (by UTM), on-site content depth, ad clicks, and off-site research.
  2. Segment at the contact level. Filter by title, seniority, company size, and region. Exclude internal/no-fit traffic.
  3. Activate in parallel. Sync the same segment to LinkedIn, push Slack alerts to BDRs, and queue a relevant email touch.
  4. Create “second at-bat” assets. Short clips, on-demand pages, or executive POV posts that meet intent level.
  5. Tighten weekly. Compare partner quality, reg-page performance, audience growth, ad CTR, meetings booked, and opp creation.

If Goldcast can turn event signals into live conversations before the form fill, imagine what your entire event calendar can do when every high-fit contact gets the next best touch—automatically.
