Read this before you build
Set partnerId to your stable tenant or workspace key before the Vector tag loads. That key is returned on every identity event, so your backend can route it deterministically.
visitor.identified is the raw, immediate signal from identity resolution and doesn’t wait for segment processing. contact.visited is tied to segment membership and fires on the segment schedule. Use the first for speed and the second for qualified, rules-based workflows.
The billing unit is a successfully created identity record. Anonymous traffic, unmatched pageviews, and webhook retries aren’t what you pay for.
