It’s the dog days of summer. Things are slow… unless you’re Vector like this pup:

With our latest upgrade to Visitor Identity, we’ve turned up the heat on how well you can identify real people engaging with your site, emails, and campaigns. More signals matched. More buyers uncovered (and more team members alerted).

All so you can spend less time guessing who’s sniffing around.

This release gives you sharper contact recognition across your funnel, no extra effort needed. Whether someone fills out a half-complete form, clicks an email from Outreach, or logs into your product dashboard, Vector helps you know who they are and what they care about (even if they’re based outside the U.S.).

What’s new (and why it matters)

Form submissions

We're team #NoForms over here, but we know teams still use them! For more matches even when the form is half-baked, we've got you covered. If a visitor skips the email field or only gives a name, we now connect the dots using historical visit data, referral context, and behavioral signals.

That means:

  • You can still identify the contact, even if they ghost the form
  • You’ll get visibility into return visitors who’ve engaged previously
  • You can reduce friction on forms (less gating, more conversion) without losing the signal

Logged-in users

We’ve improved identity stitching across sessions for logged-in experiences, so you don’t lose track of who’s doing what after they log in.

Think:

  • Post-login product tours
  • Customer dashboards
  • Onboarding flows
  • Resource portals

Even if they log in once and come back days later, Vector maintains the connection giving you a full view of their journey.

Email clickthroughs from your GTM tools

Clicks from tools like HubSpot, Salesloft, Outreach, and others now pass identity signals directly into Vector. We read unique tracking parameters (like email address or contact ID) and resolve the visitor on the spot—automatically.

You get:

  • Instant identity resolution from outbound campaigns
  • Cleaner click attribution
  • No manual tagging or UTMs required

🌎 International identity (done legally)

Now, you can identify known visitors outside the U.S. in a way that respects local privacy laws and data handling practices.

This means:

  • Global teams see the same signal coverage as U.S. teams
  • Campaigns targeting EMEA/APAC don’t feel like guesswork
  • Your compliance and security stakeholders stay happy

We’ve got the checks in place, so you can scale internationally with confidence like this pup riding the waves of ROI:

Why it matters:

With updates to Visitor Identity, GTM teams can work together on plays across the customer journey.

  • Marketing sees who is engaging, so you can optimize ad spend, personalize nurture, and stop chasing anonymous leads.
  • Sales gets real signals tied to real people, so they can follow up faster, smarter, and with more context.
  • RevOps gets cleaner, more connected segments, so your scoring, routing, and reporting stay on point.
  • CS sees when existing customers come back, so they can spot upsell interest or churn signals early.

See last week's playbooks release notes for details on why this is critical for success.

New, too: Vector x Warmly:

This release also pairs perfectly with Warmly’s new Vector integration.

Warmly’s new Vector integration lets you deanonymize your site visitors, adding another intent signal to your Warmly toolkit so you can convert even more high-intent potential customers.

Think of it like this:

  • Vector identifies who’s been engaging with your brand across campaigns, email clicks, and page visits
  • Warmly helps your team act on that intel in the moment, with alerts, context, and personalization

Final thoughts:

The funnel doesn’t take a summer break. ☀️

This release helps you uncover high-fit buyers you were missing: turning anonymous visits into named opportunities at a time when everyone else is cooling off.

Less tail-chasing. More tail-wagging results.
