If you grew up watching Full House, you remember the big storylines:
Uncle Jesse’s hair, “you got it, dude,” that time the Beach Boys dropped by.
But the smaller plots? They fade until you catch a rerun and think, “Oh right! That happened.”
That’s a lot like using Vector. You know the big picture, we help you reach the right people at the right time, but some of critical features can get overlooked. And lately, we’ve added some new ones you may not have “tuned in” for yet.
Consider this your “previously on Vector” recap… with a few new plot twists.
We build ad audiences NOT the ad creative or placement
Vector is the casting director, not the camera crew. We assemble the perfect list of contacts to target based on real buying behavior. You choose the message, creative, and distribution.
This separation keeps you focused on targeting precision while using the creative and ad management tools you already know.
So, treat Vector as your “audience brain” create segments that map to your buyer stages, then hand them off to your ad platform with the right creative for each stage. Learn more about signal-driven audiences here.
Dynamic CRM lists at the contact level
HubSpot and Salesforce lists stay fresh automatically. If a contact or field changes in your CRM, your Vector audience updates too, no manual work required.
Why is this so important? Outdated lists mean wasted spend. Dynamic syncing ensures you’re always targeting the right people at the right time. Check out more information on setting up integrations with Hubspot and Salesforce here.
Pro Tip: Use CRM filters like “Open Opportunities” or “Closed-Lost within 90 days” to run hyper-relevant plays without touching the list again.
No 1x1 micro-targeting
Our audiences are real, usable lists for scaled campaigns....not creepy one-off targeting.
Even Michele gets it:
Scaled contact-level targeting gives better reach, protects your brand, and keeps campaigns compliant with platform rules.
Pro Tip: Think in terms of high-fit groups, not individual names. Layer intent and firmographic filters to create high-converting but still broad audiences.
Ad Reveal for top accounts
See exactly who clicked your ads so you can retarget, alert sales, or trigger follow-up sequences. It connects your paid media directly to sales follow-up, removing the guesswork of anonymous clicks. More on segments and use cases here.
Slack notifications from contact behavior
Get real-time alerts when high-fit contacts engage routed to the right rep or exec, instantly. More on the what and why here.
💡 Pro tip: Start with 2–3 plays that align to current goals (e.g., pricing page visitors, open opp retargeting, churn-risk alerts), it's Danny Tanner approved.
Higher-level audience estimate groups
Exact counts sometimes misled users. We fixed that. Now, audience sizes appear in clear buckets (1–500, 500–5k, etc.) so you can plan without over-optimizing to a false number.
Action-level audience limits
We’ve raised the global max segment size to 100k contacts, with action-specific sub-limits for better usability (ex: Slack has a smaller cap than LinkedIn Ads to prevent noise).
More intuitive intent scoring
We’ve replaced confusing raw intent streams with a clean High / Medium / Low scoring system. Raw data still exists for advanced users, but the default now makes it easier to prioritize action without misconfiguration.
Increased contact-level ad audience match rates
We've worked on boosting match rates to 55–70% so more of your intended audience actually sees your ads.
With all these updates, you'll be saying "you've got it, dude" to your GTM teams' requests.
Segments are at the heart of Vector defining who you care about based on what they’re doing.
